My prescription code does not work
Check that you typed all the characters (letters and numbers, no spaces). Links expire after 14 days. If it still does not work, ask your practice to send you a new prescription.
What is a Titanium e-Script?
It is your prescription, sent electronically and securely. Instead of a paper prescription, your doctor gave you a link. You use the link to send the signed prescription straight to a pharmacy. The pharmacy can check it is genuine with the QR code on it.
More questions
Why do you need my details?
A pharmacy can only accept a prescription that shows your full name, date of birth, contact number and address. If you use medical aid, they also need your membership details. We only ask for what is missing from your record. Your answers are saved to your record at your practice.
Which pharmacy can I use?
Any pharmacy. For Dis-Chem, choose a branch near you for collection or delivery and the order goes straight into their system. For any other pharmacy, enter the pharmacist's email address and we email them the signed prescription.
Can I email the prescription to myself and print it?
No. The prescription is only valid when it goes directly to a pharmacy. If it is emailed to you, a pharmacy cannot accept it. To get a paper prescription, ask your practice.
How many times can I use the link?
You can email it to one pharmacy and send it to Dis-Chem up to twice, for example if the first branch is out of stock. Each time it is sent, the pharmacy can see where it was sent before. Repeats on the prescription are handled by the pharmacy, not by this link.
I sent it to Dis-Chem. What now?
Keep your order number. For collection, Dis-Chem will let you know when it is ready (usually the same or next working day). For delivery, they will call to confirm. The latest status from Dis-Chem shows on this page when you open the link again.
I emailed a pharmacy but they say they have nothing.
The email comes from noreply@cliniweb.co.za and can take up to 10 minutes. Ask the pharmacy to check their spam folder and to make sure the email address you entered is correct.
Who pays for the medication?
You pay the pharmacy, either in cash or by card, or they claim from your medical aid if you gave us your medical aid details. The pharmacy may send you a payment link before delivery.
How is my information protected?
Your information is encrypted in transit and handled in line with POPIA. Keep your prescription link private.
